    Relating to the rates, terms and conditions for the use and sale of electricity supplied by the City Light Department; and amending Seattle Municipal Code Chapter 21.49 in connection therewith.

    Relating to the City Light Department; amending subsection 21.49.086.D of the Seattle Municipal Code to change Net Wholesale Revenue targets for 2013 and 2014 to those assumed in the City Light Strategic Plan adopted by Resolution 31383. 

    9. Council Bill 117505 PASSED (9 – 0)

    Relating to the City Light Department; authorizing execution of a 20-year agreement with WM Renewable Energy, LLC for the purchase of renewable power and environmental attributes from the expansion of the Columbia Ridge landfill gas generating facility that are necessary or convenient for reliably meeting load growth and meeting the requirements of the Washington State Energy Independence Act; and further authorizing the execution of other necessary and convenient agreements for the receipt, tracking, transmitting, transferring, management and sale of power and environmental attributes from the Columbia Ridge landfill gas generating facility expansion. 

     TRANSPORTATION COMMITTEE:

    10. Council Bill 117571 PASSED (9 – 0)

    Vacating a portion of Broad Street between Taylor Avenue North and 6th Avenue North, initiated by Resolution 31374 and as reflected in Clerk File 312319; accepting a Deed for Street Purposes from an escrow account for a portion of Block 73, D.T. Denny’s Home Addition to the City of Seattle, from IRIS Holdings, LLC, to widen and extend 6th Avenue North, placing it under the jurisdiction of the Department of Transportation and designating it for transportation purposes; accepting an Easement Agreement from an escrow account for the City of Seattle’s continued use of the vacated portion of Broad Street until the completion of the Mercer Corridor Project West Phase and the Alaskan Way Viaduct & Seawall Replacement project; accepting a Property Use and Development Agreement; accepting a Utility Easement on behalf of Seattle City Light; and accepting a Utility Easement on behalf of Seattle Public Utilities.

    Granting Equilon Enterprises LLC dba Shell Oil Products US permission to maintain and operate a pipeline system in, under, along, and across 13th Avenue Southwest and Southwest Florida Street for a twenty-year term, renewable for two successive ten-year terms; specifying the conditions under which this permit is granted; providing for the acceptance of the permit and conditions; and ratifying and confirming certain prior acts.         

    12. Council Bill 117564 PASSED (9 – 0)

    Relating to a grant from the United States Department of Transportation for the construction of the Mercer Corridor Project West Phase; authorizing the Director of Transportation to accept a $14,000,000 grant and to execute grant-related agreements for and on behalf of the City; and ratifying and confirming prior acts.

    Relating to the Mercer Corridor Project West Phase; removing a proviso in the 2012 Adopted Budget to authorize the Seattle Department of Transportation to spend appropriated funds for construction of the Mercer Corridor Project West Phase.
